About the Author

Grace Ann King, commonly known as Mrs. King, is a passionate educator who is obsessed with books. She enjoys reading independently; however, she much more enjoys reading new books with her students and seeing their joy of reading grow.

Mrs. King is passionate about diverse literature being accessible to all students. She advocates for inclusive book collections among classrooms and curriculums. Mrs. King is intentional in her books about creating characters that highlight students who are not represented enough in current literature.

When Mrs. King isn’t teaching, reading, or writing, she can be found hanging out with her husband, playing with her sons, or snuggling her dogs!
